Afan jumped onto the pitch at Bramall Lane to embrace Erling Haaland after the Norwegian striker’s goal against Sheffield United in Manchester City‘s 2-1 win.

The fan jumps from the stands, grabs Haaland on the back and kisses him on the cheek.

The supporter, who was taken off the pitch by security, has been identified as Terry Flanagan… a world boxing champion!

Terry Flanagan was the WBO lightweight champion of the world between 2015 and 2017, making four successful defences of the belt before moving up in weight.

The fighter from Manchester won the first 33 professional fights of his career, but suffered back-to-back defeats to Americans Maurice Hooker and Regis Prograis in 2018.

Terry Flanagan, who is 34 and an avowed Manchester City fan, retired with a spectacular record of 36 wins (14 KO’s) and just 2 defeats.
