It looks as though Megyn Kelly has it in for David Muir and his “teeny-tiny” black t-shirt.
This week the 51-year-old ABC World News Tonight anchor swapped the studio for the chilling scenes in Texas, as people there continue to search for survives in the aftermath of the flash floods that have wreaked havoc through the southern state and claimed the lives of many.
Aside from a change of scenery, David also had a change of attire. Instead of donning his usual clean cut blazer, tie and button-up shirt he wore a extremely fitted black tee – a choice which has sent Megyn, 54, off on a furious rant.
During a segment dedicated to David’s fitted ensemble on her self-titled SiriusXM show, Megyn began, “We have circumstantial evidence that he’s at it again, this time down in Texas, reporting on the terrible flooding in Kerr County, outside of Dallas,” referring to the ABC star’s flood.
“He has for the look at this for the past two nights, two nights in a row, is wearing his teeny, tiny black T shirt, super high cut on the bicep, so you can see his muscles and the teeny, tiny waist down below,” she went on to point out.
Megyn also backed up her accusation by playing a video of David walking around, saying, “And we went and pulled the video of him doing his walk and talk, because we really care about this. And his T-shirt looks normal. Look. It looks like a normal T-shirt.
“Where he’s in the field, there’s obviously no cinchers. He’s tucked it in the back because I think he wants to show off his F—y,” the journalist brazenly added.
“And he’s walking. He’s a manly man in the field. But then you get him on camera, it’s got the normal thing to it. You get him on camera for the nightly broadcast, and the [teeny-tiny] waist, where it’s smaller than Megyn Kelly’s waist – but my defense, I’ve had three children. He hasn’t, and he wants the world to know he’s super, super tiny in the waist, but super muscly in the arms.”
“And the reason this matters is because vanity is amok, and TV news in general, and amongst our evening news anchors, it already brought down Brian Williams, his need to embellish his life, his reporting himself, and I would submit to you that this is like that in a different form,” Megyn concluded.

A clip of the segment was shared on Megyn’s Instagram grid along with the caption, “That’s not how t-shirts work”: @megynkelly reacts to David Muir’s latest vanity moment in Texas,” and fans were quick to jump to David’s defense.
One user penned, “Who else really cares about this but YOU???” as a second added, “This not worth commenting on…..how many people is news get cosmetic surgery to feel and look better?”
Another wrote, “Tbf you spent years on Fox wearing super short skirts with shiny legs. You looked great but having a pop at someone’s appearance is a bit rich.”
While a fourth person chimed in, blasting, “Really ? It’s 100F and humid as hell here. How dare you to criticize ? You just lost all credibility. At least he is here involved.”
It’s not the first time, however, that David has been called out for his vain ways. Back in January, when the news anchor was reporting on the Los Angeles wildfires, he was caught using pegs to cinch in his protective jacket – seemingly to allow him to show off his toned torso.
Viewers were quick to call David out, with many branding him “pathetic” and “narcissistic.”
