Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s daughter, Sunday Rose, is chasing her dreams.

Sunday and her younger sister, Faith Margaret, had mostly private early childhoods. Keith and Nicole wanted them to grow up out of the spotlight. However, the girls still made occasional appearances with their parents and even had cameos in Nicole’s hit show Big Little Lies.

Now that Keith and Nicole’s daughters are older (Sunday is 17 and Faith is 14), they’ve started to appear in public more often. The girls famously made a rare red carpet appearance in 2024 when Nicole received the AFI Life Achievement Award.

Also, Sunday has slowly started pursuing her own career in the entertainment industry. She’s particularly interested in modeling, and recently landed her first magazine cover shoot.

Sunday was featured in the latest issue of NYLON, which interviewed her for their cover story. She spoke about her famous parents and revealed the “two big rules” they had for her growing up.

For starters, Keith and Nicole told their daughter she couldn’t start modeling until she reached a certain age. “…I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16,” Sunday said.

As for their second rule, Keith and Nicole told Sunday “that school always has to come first.” Sunday said she “hated” that rule at first, but has since come to value her education.

“…I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset,” she said. “

Sunday plans to attend college and hopes to study filmmaking. “I have several interests that I am interested in exploring in college,” she said. “Filmmaking has actually been my dream career since I was 5, so I hope I’m able to study that in college.”

During an interview with CMT in 2016, Keith said that both of his daughters expressed interest in the entertainment world. At that time, they were passionate about singing and acting.

As Sunday grew up, she also fell in love with modeling. She followed her parents’ rules and didn’t start pursuing that career until she turned 16.

Sunday made her runway debut for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week in 2024. She wore a white outfit with knee-high socks and open-toe shoes.

Speaking to NYLON about her passion for fashion, Sunday said:

“Something I’ve always loved about fashion in general is that every brand is so different. Just watching the shows, you can see how each designer expresses themself in a different way through the collection. Growing up, I went to my mom’s photo shoots a lot and got to observe, which definitely led to my interest in exploring the modeling world.”

She loves to go through Nicole’s closet for fun items to wear, joking that she calls it her “favorite store.”

Keith and Nicole’s youngest daughter, Faith, has also expressed interest in modeling. She recently made a rare appearance alongside Nicole in an advertisement for the Japanese luxury beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté. Watch that video below.
