Antetokounmpo has built up quite a resume going into his 11th season, even leading the Milwaukee Bucks to the 2021 NBA Championship. Since then, the Bucks have failed to make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs, losing to the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.

RUMOR: Trade Talks Could Soon “Heat Up” Between Bucks & Surprise Western Conference Club For Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo

As far as the suitors, both New York and Los Angeles are logical suitors. The Lakers are always a prime destination for marquee NBA players, and both teams were involved in a trade that sent Kareem Abdul Jabbar from Milwaukee to Los Angeles. The Knicks are always looking for high-end talent, and haven’t won a title since 1973. Both would have to scramble a package together in a trade, but players have a way of forcing team’s hands to go to a market of their choosing.

Whether Milwaukee builds a contender around Antetokounmpo is unknown, but the clock is certainly ticking around both. Giannis is in his prime and wants to win now.
