Statham stars alongside Ruby Rose from “Orange Is the New Black” in this Jaws-style thriller.
In the movie, Statham portrays a diving expert who is recruited to help track down a colossal 70-foot white shark named the Carcharodon Megalodon, which is wreaking havoc in the seas. The images captured on set showcase Statham’s impressive physique as he boards a boat, fully suited up in his diving gear.
Wearing a black hat to shield himself from the sun, Statham appeared relaxed and in good spirits as he interacted with the crew. The film, expected to be released in 2018, is directed by Jon Turteltaub, a seasoned Hollywood veteran known for his work on films such as “Cool Runnings” and “While You Were Sleeping.”
