Erik ten Hag Cuts Short New Year’s Eve Dinner in Altrincham, Focusing on Crucial Month in Man United’s Transfer Market and On-Pitch Revival Following Tough Matches

Before the end of 2023, ERIK TEN HAG felt great and planned a fancy meal with his family.

The boss of Manchester United had a rough year with the Red Devils.

He helped the club win the Carabao Cup and get back into the Champions League after not having a title in six years.

But his injury-plagued team was knocked out in the group stages, and they haven’t been able to keep up their form this season. Off the pitch, they are also in fights with players like Jadon Sancho.

And United poorly ended the year by losing 2-1 at Nottingham Forest. They are now seventh in the table, nine points behind the top four.

Ten Hag forgot about all of that, though, and spent New Year’s Eve with his family in Altrincham.

Ten Hag’s wife Bianca and some other family members joined him at The Con Club.

A fancy diner serves different kinds of meat and sushi, and they have a special menu for New Year’s Eve.

Ten Hag, 53, was seen coming in wearing a dark coat, pants, sneakers, and a flat cap. Bianca was wearing a beige jacket and a scarf to match her outfit.

The Dutch dad of three seemed to talk to a few people outside before going inside to eat his dinner.

Last night, on New Year’s Eve, Sir Dave Brailsford spent his first day on the job at Manchester United at Carrington.

The Premier League has approved Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s plan to buy a 25% stake in Manchester United. Brailsford will then join the football board at Old Trafford.

Sources say that on New Year’s Eve, Brailsford visited the training ground and met with staff in several different ways.

He went to the games against Forest and Aston Villa.

But Ten Hag, the coaches, or the recruitment team have not yet met with the Ineos director of sport, who used to be the boss of Team Sky racing.

But the boss doesn’t think he’ll lose his job, even though new investors are interested in Graham Potter.

“They (INEOS) know me and they know that when I have a squad the way I want it, the results will be there,” Ten Hag said after Villa’s comeback win on Christmas Day. We’ve already shown that we can beat the best teams.

“I am sure and strongly believe that we can make more progress and be more consistent as a team.” This is a project part.

“We did better than expected last year, but not as well this year. We need to step up, and I need to lead that process.”
