Sophie Cunningham might be experiencing some off-court issues, but she is certainly not letting them destroy her spirit.
Ahead of the 2025 WNBA season, the Indiana Fever made several big offseason moves, including a trade for the veteran guard. Thanks to her charisma off the court, she’s quickly become a fan favorite.
Cunningham has also been turning heads with her stunning gameday outfits.
On Monday, she posted a short video of her see-through outfit, which featured shorts and knee-high boots.
“I’m nicer when I like my outfit,” Cunningham captioned her post.
How fans reacted to Sophie Cunningham:
“Yesssssss,” teammate Lexie Hull wrote.
“Very sexy and you better be ready to help even more with Clark out for 2 weeks,” another fan added.
“the hottest!!” a third fan wrote.
“So beautiful,” a fourth fan commented.
Cunningham missed the season’s first two games after revealing she was dealing with a broken ankle.
She and the Fever will be back out on the court on May 28 for a game against the Washington Mystics.

Former Mercury star Sophie Cunningham is alleged to have had an affair with married Suns and Mercury CEO Josh Bartelstein, according to a damning new lawsuit.
Gene Traylor, a Suns employee and former director of safety, security, and risk management, alleges he told Bartelstein that Cornelius Craig, the franchises’ vice president of security and risk management, informed others that Bartelstein allegedly was having an affair with Cunningham.
Traylor’s lawsuit alleges racial discrimination and harassment, unlawful retaliation, and security issues.
Cunningham has denied accusations that she was involved in an affair with Phoenix Mercury CEO Josh Bartelstein.
“I am deeply saddened by the recent false accusations made against me by Gene Traylor, someone I do not know and have never met. Let me be clear: his statements are untrue and extremely hurtful,” Sophie Cunningham wrote in part.
“I am here to compete, play basketball at the highest level and win for my team and my fans, while inspiring other women that they can do or be anything they ever dream of becoming. I hold myself to the highest integrity and my values are what guide me on and off the court.
“To the media who reported on this, I have always spoken the truth and been transparent with any press inquiry. In this instance, it feels irresponsible that I was never asked for a comment about the accusation before several clickbait stories went to print.
“I will not let untrue gossip take my focus away from what is most important to me, which is basketball, my supportive teams, and my fans.”
Cunningham was selected by the Mercury in the second round of the 2019 WNBA Draft and spent the first six seasons of her career with the franchise. In February, she was traded to the Indiana Fever.

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.
‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’
Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.
She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best
It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.
Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.
Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’
